Okay, here’s the thing. There are generally two ways to get a signed copy of an author’s book. The first way is via a signed book plate, that is, a sticker that you’re sent to attach to one of the front pages of your copy of the book. This is a far more efficient and cheaper way to do it – for you and for the author! The problem is – for now – I don’t like that option. Why? Because, I much prefer the second option, that is, the author’s signature scrawled directly on the page! That’s how Elif Shafak signed her book for me, and that’s how Steven Erikson did it. And that’s how I like it! Maybe I’m right, maybe I’m wrong, but that’s how it is for now.

But, the catch. Price. I need to get the books sent to me to sign them, then I package and ship to you. I’m in the UK, and depending on where you are, those shipping costs could be high.

And that’s why I have the ordering set up as it is. I have a limited stock of books in-house. You email me to say you’d like a signed copy. I check the shipping cost, and then send you the quote. If you accept, and pay, then I ship. But, if it’s too high a price for you, no worries, I understand. Just politely decline, and all’s good.

The hardcover is 6”x9” case laminate with jacket, with the ARRIVAL cover displayed on both jacket and interior as shown in the accompanying pictures. My writing is terrible, and so I won’t despoil the book with an inscription, just my inked signature.
